Local LLM / AI Infrastructure PoC — Providing the Data You Need to Decide

Challenges

Many businesses handle confidential data and cannot send everything to cloud-based AI. At the same time, companies often cannot determine on their own whether a local LLM—run on-premise without letting data leave the company—can truly be used for their actual operations. We receive an increasing number of consultations like this. Proof of Concept (PoC) projects also tend to end once built; it is common to hear of cases where a working prototype was created, but the project ultimately never moved forward to production.

Our Approach

What Cor. aims for in a PoC is not a “working demo,” but “having all the necessary materials to decide whether to move to production.” Rather than committing exclusively to either cloud AI or a local LLM, we design under the premise of using the right tool in the right place according to the confidentiality of the information handled. We strictly adhere to the stance that building something is never the goal in itself.

Implementation

Over a three-month period, we proceed through the following phases:

• Defining target operations
• Designing data handling (input boundaries, access permissions, operation logs, human approval)
• Building the test environment
• Setting evaluation metrics and conducting measurements
• Determining whether to proceed to production

If findings have already been organized through an assessment (Confidential Data AI Utilization Assessment), we narrow down the scope of the PoC based on those results.

Deliverables

At the end of three months, you will have the materials needed to decide whether to move forward with production. If results are favorable, we will proceed to production development and operation/maintenance (quoted individually based on requirements). If not, we believe that deciding “not to proceed at this time” is also a valuable takeaway as an outcome of the PoC. Cor. continuously validates local LLMs and applies these accumulated insights to the design of our PoC projects. Pricing starts from 3 million yen for 3 months (varying depending on challenges and scope).
